Chi manages to pull off the hybrid concept of a wine bar-cum-noodle bar with some style, seamlessly fusing both sides of the business. It is set over two floors, with a low-ceilinged basement dining room & a ground-floor bar-restaurant: a bright, agreeable space thanks to large windows & modern blond-wood tables. There’s a great deal more than noodles on the vast pan-Asian menu. Teriyaki salmon salad, crispy duck pancakes & Malaysian lamb curry are just some of the eclectic dishes popular with lunch-break diners, while a long list of tapas-style creations satisfies the unbuttoned, after-work drinks crowd. The long bar serves bottled beers, such as Tsing Tao & Kirin Ichiban, alongside Asahi on draught & attractively priced wines
